Gina Vizzo-Bratu | Executive Chef | Co-Owner

Raised in Wooster, Gina began working at her family owned restaurant at a young age. This began her love for the culinary arts. In 2001, Gina received her culinary degree from Pennsylvania Culinary, in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She completed her externship in Naples, FLA. 

Following externship, Gina went on to work for several very successful restaurants in Florida and Ohio. Her passion for this industry continued to grow, while learning each position of the restaurant. It’s always been a dream of hers to own and operate her own restaurant. In June of 2024, she opened Heritage Bistro, downtown Canton. The restaurant was well received and quickly took off. A larger space was desired, to keep up with customer demand. In February 2025, Heritage Bistro partnered with Great Trail Golf Course, changing the name to Heritage at Great Trail. 

She and her husband Brent (General Manager and Co-Owner) reside in Minerva. Chef Gina is eager to share her culinary talent here, locally. Heritage at Great Trail promises to provide an elevated dining experience, creating a place where people can come together, celebrate and enjoy amazing food.
